Bandung – If you think that Kijang Innova is fuel consumptive, that is absolutely incorrect. Innova Club Community (IC) has proved that this family car reached 15,49 km/l. This fact finally revealed by the IC at the event of Family Fun Touring (FFT), 21 -22 Februari 2009. The 37 members agreed to provide the consumption competition, and they decided to assess their emotional-driving behavior as well.

The participants consist of 80 adults and 45 of children. The competition itself divided into two categories, VVTI – gasoline and D4D diesel. Head of the IC Group explained that the objective of this event is maintaining and developing the relationship among the members. Since it is align with the motto “Share with Us.”

This event is fully supported by PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM). “TAM and other sponsors supported this event and games as well,” Kicky Nelwan, head of the committee said. The coordinator, Kurnadi, also explained that for the winner of VVTi was Herry Sembodo for 15,490 km/l reached. And for D4D category was Anto for 14,702 km/l.

During the event, which is started at 09.00 the participants had been stuck in traffic while entering Padaleunyi and Tol Kopo Exit. They arrived at Kampung Pogo and continued to Strawberry Garden. At the last part of event, all the participants went to Kawah Putih and Situ Patenggang. This event has retained the slogan of “Kijang Memang Tiada Duanya”. (TAM)
