PermataBank and Toyota Astra Financial Services (TA Finance) Launched Virtual Account System

 Jakarta – To increase the comfort level of banking transaction for the customers of PermataBank and TA Finance in terms of automobile installment payment, the two companies signed a joint operation agreement regarding the launch of online payment system via Virtual Account feature, commonly known as TA Personal Account.

Ongky W. Dana, PermataBank’s Director, stated that one of PermataBank’s business focuses is wholesale banking which requires various specific banking products and services. To meet the demand of the segment, PermataBank and TA Finance forged a partnership to provide Cash Management Solution which will ease TA Finance in commencing ‘daily collection’ transaction.

The joint operation agreement was signed by Ongky W. Dana and TA Finance’s Director Ayakuni Muramoto. Within the scope of the agreement, TA Finance’s customers could utilize all of PermataBank’s distribution networks to commence online, accurate and safe installment payment. This is possible due to excellent technological platform of PermataBank, therefore the customers could choose their method of payment such as through PermataATM, transfer between bank, PermataMobile (SMS Banking), PermataShop (EDC), as well as PermataPhone (PhoneBanking/IVR). All of TA Finance’s customers could reap the benefit of this service, even those not yet a customer of PermataBank.

Virtual Account System is PermataBank’s latest innovation for E channel technology. Exclusively for the purpose of facilitating installment payment towards TA Finance, the system eases the installment payment process for TA Finance’s customers, not only at PermataBank’s ATMs, but also the ATMs of other banks who connected to ALTO, ATM Bersama and Prima network on online and real time basis.

Ongky added that this joint operation is the realization of synergy between Astra and PermataBank where Astra International is one of major shareholders of PermataBank. The synergy is not merely conforms to the win-win situation, but also provides added value product for both institutions.

Ayakuni Muramoto, the Director of TA Finance, also stated that this system is a great help for his side as it will increase the efficiency of day-to-day operation especially in reconciling payment due to the fact that with this online system, TA Finance is not required to commence collection from other bank. "We are optimistic that the program will bring about the customers’ satisfaction which will eventually improve TA Finance’s business". Ayakuni Muramoto also hoped that TA Finance’s customers who didn’t have PermataBank account yet could also enjoy the other banking products from the aforementioned bank.
